Generate More Sales In Any Affiliate Program Part Three

Writen by Gillian Tarawhiti

Thinking Outside the square is where we last left off. So to carry on from this topic let me introduce you to M.E. Software.

It's a must have, for any Affiliate, promoting any program. Without this critical piece of software in your operations, your goal at making money online will fail.

OK, now that I have made that clear let me tell that the M.E. software is 100% free. No downloading is required but installation is VITAL.

You're confused now aren't you?

What type of software requires no downloading, but has to be installed and is 100% free?

Software needs to be downloaded onto a server or a personal computer, right? Not necessarily but, enough with the questions I'll just get to the point.

M.E.. Software without the full stops = ME SOFTWARE.

That's right – it's all about YOU.

By reprogramming some of your thought patterns and learn how to utilise your best asset –YOU, brilliant things will start to happen.

At this point I want to remind you that I am not into GET-RICH-QUICK anything, in order to create sustainable income online and offline you need to cover what I call my 4 point process which I will cover Part Four to Six.

The 4-point process is:

o Visualise o Strategise o Energise o Realise

These points need to be programmed into your thought patterns. Without it, and without a doubt, you will not succeed.

Let's take a proactive step forward and look at your FINANCIAL GOALS.

The very first thing you are going to have to do IS SET A GOAL. I anticipate the fact that you want to speed along because you have things you would like to pay for. I can assure you that THE FASTEST WAY is to follow every instruction. Choosing to race off as most people tend to do will only slow down your progress and hinder your results.

Make your financial goal reasonable and achievable (just so you know this is the reprogramming part). When you have done this it is time to set out a PLAN.

When you start to plan you have to be mindful of what is wishful thinking and what is achievable. Planning does not work effectively with WISHING … these two things are totally incompatible.

If you can see that in the past your goals have been wishful thoughts. That in a way is a good thing because you have identified this. Now you need to reprogram those thoughts to make different decisions that will produce better results.

Today, you need to install the M.E. Software, and you will see that slight changes in making different decisions can produce amazing results.

To Your Online Success.

Adsense Advertising Money Googles Recipe For Success

Writen by Sion Fletcher

Google applied their simplicity and efficiency to advertising, and gave birth to adsense, one of the most reputable and popular methods of making money online today.

Google realised that the key to successful online advertising was to show the right ads to the right customers. This in turn increases your click through rate, a measure of the percentage of visitors who have clicked an advert on your website, ultimately creating you revenue.

One of the many challenges facing webmasters looking to profit from their websites is to find relevant adverts that suit the content of their website. So how does Google adsense tackle this problem? Simple, they choose the right ads to put on your website for you.

Once you have placed adsense code on your website, a process that takes only a few clicks, it will start displaying relevant ads within minutes.

But how?

Utilising their powerful search engine algorithms, google adsense code scans your page, harvesting keywords, subtitles, body text and content in order to choose relevant ads to display on your page. This process occurs as your page loads, meaning your adverts remain relevant, even if the content is dynamic.

Over time, google monitors which adverts are the most successful on your site, automatically filtering off the less profitable ones, fine tuning your page into a money-making machine.

So how do you go about getting adsense on your website?

Again, Google have struck gold by keeping it simple. Signing up for an adsense account is free, quick and easy. Visit www.google.com/adsense to find out more.

During initial sign up, you must agree with the following policies that outline what is permitted under the program. One interesting condition that google stipulates in the agreement, is that you must not place adverts on pages without any content. Not only would this defeat the mechanics of the program, but also serves to maintain the quality of the Adsense network. You must agree to the following guidelines in the application when registering for an account.

• I agree that I will not click on the Google ads I'm serving through AdSense.

• I will not place ads on sites that include incentives to click on ads.

• I agree that I can receive checks made out to the payee name I have listed above.

• I will not place ads on sites that include pornographic content.

• I certify that I have read the AdSense Program Policies.

Visit www.google.com/adsense to find out more.

Good luck!

Do You Make These Affiliate Mistakes

Writen by Barry McDonald

You've just come across a fantastic product and you're thinking of signing up as Affiliate but before you get carried away, here are a few pointers that can save you both time and money!

1.Is the sales letter any good, read the headline first it's been shown that a good headline makes a big difference (it's been proven that 75% of people make up their minds of purchasing a product just from reading the headline alone.) Is the rest of the sales letter any good, do you find yourself reading being drawn through the sales letter? Would you buy the product yourself? If you would, others probably would as well.

2.Are there any "leaks" on the sales page? By leaks I mean are there any thing on the webpage to distract your visitor from making a purchase or a way for you could lose out a commission.

For example…

•Phone numbers that the buyer could order and deal directly with the seller, letting you lose out on a commission, •E-mail addresses for the same reason as above. •Excessive pop ups or slow loading webpage's that can frustrate your prospect. (People on the internet want everything in an instant so don't expect them to hang around!)

3.Are there any testimonials on the sales page, the more testimonials the better especially showing how the person has benefited from using the product.

4.What kind of guarantee is being offered with the product, is it 30,60 day risk free guarantee. Don't worry about a longer guarantee costing you money and people asking for their money back as its been shown that the longer the guarantee the less refunds you'll get.

5.If you can, buy the product so you know yourself if it's any good. There's no point sending traffic to a website, making some commissions and then finding out the products poor quality and everyone wants their money back.

These tips should save you a lot of time and frustration when looking for a product to become an affiliate of...and remember not everyone surfing the web is going around with their wallet open looking to purchase something so don't be disheartened if you get a lot of "No's" before you finally get a "Yes."

Secrets Of Super Affiliates

Writen by Ron Pioneer

Have you ever wondered why it is very difficult for you to make a headway in the affiliate marketing game? Why have you signed up for so many programs with so much expectations and yet you have never being able to make a dime out of them all while some people are screaming about them making over $5,000 in the same program you signed for?

These people called "super affiliates" are just ordinary people like you but they do things differently from the rest of the crowd. They see the game from a different angle and they play it with a different strategy. How then do these super affiliates play their game?

The first strategy super affiliates adopt, is that instead of sending traffic to the site of the program/ product they are promoting, send it to theirs. You see, most people advertise their affiliate sites which people will go to and never buy anything.

Super affiliates understand that people are not inclined to buy anything at their first contact with the product, that they will need to be contacted on so many occasions before they can make the precious purchase. Super affiliates use this as an edge over their competitors.

When they drive traffic to their sites, they entice them to join their opt-in list by offering them something "nice" in return. After joining the list, the people can then be advertised to as long as the super affiliates want and so long the subscribers are not complaining.

So, it is very important for you to know that if you want to make it big in the affiliate game, you must have your own opt-in list. Stop spending money to send traffic away, instead bring them to your site and make them join your list by any means, it is very IMPORTANT.

Super affiliates do get to know the product they promote inside out. That is another advantage they exploit over their competitors. They buy the product they want to promote and they digest all the contents of the product so that they will be able to tell their prospects what is in it for them.

How many times have you signed up to promote a product you don't even know about? Do you think if a sales person turns up at your door to tell you of a product, he cannot even tell its usefulness to you, will you buy from such a person? No! That is why some people will not buy whatever you promote, because they don't really know what it will do for them and what it has done for you the promoter.

Get to know what you are promoting so that you can tell your prospects what the product is all about and how it can be of help to them. Your own personal testimonies matters a lot because it is what will motivate them to buy from you.

Another super affiliate's game plan is that they stand out from the crowd.

Hello! How many times have you seen hundreds of people advertising the same product using same banners, classifieds and reports/ articles? If a prospect had seen so many of those at other sites, what gives you the impression that he will buy from you?

Super affiliates understand this, so they write their own classifieds, use their own banners and also write special reports to promote their programs.

Prospects always get drawn to those who are doing something different from the maddening crowd. So if you want to be upgraded to the level of a super affiliate, STAND OUT!

The EXTRA also stands out make one a super affiliate. They add extra(s) to the product they are promoting. People always want to make purchase from those who offered more value for their money.

Let's assume ten affiliates approach you with the same product and nine of them offer the same thing and the last one chose to offer some extra bonuses to the product you are buying at the same amount. Which one will you probably buy from? The last one of course!

You can adopt this method too by offering a free report, course, freebie you got of the Net, an ebook or another product that is what the value of the one you are promoting. You have to offer MORE if you wish to sell MORE.

Lastly another super affiliate game plan I will wan to talk about, is that super affiliates always promote products in their chosen field.

How many times have you promoted some products in a field you don't even know a hoot about? When you promote products in your own niche, you will find out that you will be more enthusiastic about it and even if you have not gone through the product before, you can easily recommend it to people.

The manner you will say something about it will just look as if you have already gone through use the product. Marketing a product in your own niche market, will always give you an added advantage because it is your area of expertise. never bother looking at which area is HOT!

Just check your own niche market out and then promote any product you find adopting all the strategies highlighted above and see what becomes of you. If you happen to be a tennis buff, and you happen to be promoting golf products, which you don't know anything about? :(

What if a prospect decides to ask you a question about golf? :( Do you think you will have anything to say? That is why it is important to stay in your own niche.

I believe you too can become a SUPER affiliate in no mean time, if you will adopt the game plan mentioned above. If others are doing it, why not you?

Never get discouraged by the mistakes of yesterday, look up to tomorrow with bright hope. NOW is the to get started!

Where To Find Good Independent Affiliate Programs

Writen by Matt DeAngelis

It seems that there are thousands of companies that have chosen to manage their own affiliate programs rather than using companies like Linkshare or Commission Junction.

In fact, our friends at Five Star Affiliate Programs tracked a posting on a UK affiliate forum where they are wondering if the networks deserve their 30% commission. Great Question.

The point is that it takes big bucks to get into a Commission Junction or a LinkShare, and there are plenty of good-paying, unique programs out there that are worth at least reviewing. Like everything else on the Internet there are plenty of directories out there that list independent affiliate programs. Again, like everything else on the Internet some of them just list programs from other networks (like Clickbank).

In fact, a lot of them were organized the same way and had the same sites listed, so I came to the conclusion that they were just repackaged content (which I find a lot on the Net these days).

I looked over 25 to 30 of these directories, and here are the 5 I found the most useful, in the order that I liked them:

1. Affiliateseeking.com This was my favorite. They seemed to have the most unique set of sites, and the user interface is intuitive.

2. Earnfind.com EarnFind was a good one too, with lots of good links and good organization.

3. Clickslink.com Not a bad site, although many of the listings were from other networks.

4. AffiliatePrograms.com Great layout, some good sites. My only gripe is that it is a paid listing service, which lessens its impartiality.

5. AffiliateGuide.com This is the affiliate guide template site. Lots of ads, but some good programs. I wanted to include at least one of these sites…there are many.

If you know of any more good ones, drop me a line at AffiliateBlog.com so I can share them.

How To Earn An Income With Affiliate Programs

Writen by Michael Russell

An affiliate is someone who earns a part-time or full-time income from selling other people's products and then earns a commission on each product that is being sold through promoting it on their own website, newsletter or email list, depending on the preferred method of delivering their online business. Commission can range from around 5% to approximately 75% for each product, according to the value and popularity given to the products that are promoted.

Selling information appears to be one of the most profitable ways of earning an income as an affiliate, since the public tend to go online to search for information about a subject they want to find out more about. The commission for selling information products online is usually in the region of 50% and higher for digital products. This obviously provides the affiliate marketer with plenty of incentive therefore to promote the products on offer.

So how does someone become an affiliate?

1. Decide on a subject that interests you, since you will be creating a website, newsletter or writing articles around the theme of the product you are selling. For instance, are you interested in dogs? If so, you could create a basic website around an aspect of dog ownership.

Have you any special hobbies or talents that you enjoy spending time doing? Then, perhaps you could create a website or newsletter around the theme of your hobby or talent?

Are you getting any ideas?

2. Once you have decided on a suitable subject for your website, you are ready to start searching for products to advertise based on the theme of your website. For example, a website about dogs could involve all aspects of dog ownership or one aspect such as dog training, dog breeding or dog grooming.

3. When you've decided on a product to promote and sell, you should then sign up as an affiliate with the company offering that product on sale. This usually involves a straightforward means of completing an online registration form to list you as an affiliate of their company. They will then send an email to you with confirmation details of your affiliate membership and a special code that identifies you with the sale of each product that contains your code details.

4. Start creating your website. If you are already experienced at developing websites, then this aspect of building your online business will be the easiest part of your affiliate product promotion. However, if you are like many other online marketers who are new to the concept of web design, you can either learn to do this for free with the number of good tutorials that are available online or through books such as those sold on Amazon that teach you to build a website from scratch. The other alternative is to hire an experienced web designer to build your website for you for a reasonable fee.

5. When you have your website created, you are ready to let the world know your online existence. To do this, you can submit your website to the search engines such as Google and Yahoo for free. Also, write and post articles on your chosen subject and post them on relevant article sites as well as on your own website. Start a newsletter and get people to sign up for it through providing a place on your site for people to leave their names and email address. Also, you can join relevant forums and start posting messages with details of your own website in your signature. There are countless means of promoting and selling affiliate products online.

This article has hopefully provided you with a few ideas to get you started with earning a part-time or full-time income as an Affiliate on the Internet.

Affiliate Marketing How To Start Earning Money Today

Writen by Joanne King

If you're new to Affiliate Marketing and your finding everything that your learning is a little "mind blowing" but really want to start making money today then here is the quickest way to get results.

First, I would begin with using ClickBank. They have a gazillion affiliate programs to choose from. If you don't already have a ClickBank account then you can get one for free at http://clickbank.com/overview.html

We aren't going to bother making a website or anything like that; I'm going to show you the quickest short-cut to earning the money today.

Now once you've signed up with ClickBank we're going to go to the button "Promote Products"

Finding your first product to affiliate with I would suggest you go for a topic that you know something about. This will make writing your Google Ad much easier.

Search for a subject that you know a little bit about. I would also recommend choosing a product where you will make at least $20 for the sale.

Of course first, I want to be sure that there is a market for this product, I want to check to see if people are searching for it. So I'm going to head over to overture http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ And place in the keyword of the product I think I would like to promote.

If the keyword is being searched over on Overture a decent amount then I know there is a market for this product.

Now I'm going to see if the salescopy (website) is up to scratch.

Does the header draw you in and make you want to read more? Yes

Does it have believable testimonials? Yes

Is the offer genuine and believable? Yes

Does it have visuals of the product? Yes (not a requirement for myself)

Does it have Free Bonus's? Yes (also not a requirement for me to promote it but definitely adds value)

Are they offering a money back guarantee? Yes

I would definitely promote this website. So now I need to set up a Google Adwords campaign.

This is now going to be the hardest work of it all. As you can see everything else we've done so far is a breeze.

If you're not sure on how to set up a Google campaign I show illustrations on how to do this in my book "Affiliate Marketing – Quick Start Guide". If you don't already have this book you can get it for free by signing up to my newsletter at http://www.joesy.com

Because this is a digital download (they all are through ClickBank, ClickBank only deals in digital products) and if the subject refers to people worldwide I would promote this globally in my Google Adwords campaign.

Now you need to write your ad that will bring people to want to click on it. Say if I was promoting a product that shows people how to play the guitar… I would test a heading like: Learn to Play Guitar (in this subject line I've used the main keyword they've probably searched for "guitar" and I've suggested what this site will teach you "Learn to Play".

Next is setting up your keywords. I use either http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ or wordtracker to help me find keywords for this product.

You will want to come up with around 200 to 300 keywords. I generally try to find keywords with little competition, this way I pay less per click.

You ad should be activated in around 10 minutes. You can check this by typing one of your keywords into Google and look for your ad.

Online Store Or Affiliate Website Which Is Best

Writen by Andre Bias

There are many opportunities on the internet to make a living. One of the oldest ways is through an online store where customers can purchase goods and have them shipped directly to their home. The money made through online stores can be very good but the competition has gotten very fierce over the last few years. That is why so many online stores have affiliate programs. An affiliate program is a program set up for people to advertise a specific store and get a commission whenever they refer a customer that purchases an item.

Nowadays affiliate marketers are becoming very common. So common that many choose to market affiliates programs for other website rather than starting their own website with the same types of products. The reason for this are simple, as an affiliate marketer you do not have to carry any inventory, ship any products, have a merchant account, or deal with customer service, all you have to do is marketing. You get good pay with a lot less hassle. Even though being an affiliate marketer sounds great, not everyone is good at it. Many people try it and end up losing money. They see someone making six figures every month and they rush into affiliate marketing without knowing what they are doing.

Overall an online store and affiliate marketing are very similar. If you like working with people, buying inventory, hiring employees, and shipping products open an online store. If you want to promote other people products then go with affiliate marketing.

Learn How To Improve The Performance Of Your Adsense Account Some New Features

Writen by Ramdayal Yadav

Google introduced some new features to AdSense account. When I checked its really useful, So I request to all adsense members to check below given points to increase your AdSense Revenue. This is equally important for Publishers who are going to join AdSense. If they read this points and put banner accordingly it would increase their Adsense income.

Tips for Maximizing Your Google AdSense Revenue.

These easy-to-implement tips to help you maximize your AdSense earnings potential.

1. Show your ads above the fold.
Placing ads above the fold (the section of your page that is visible without scrolling) will make the ads more readily visible to your visitors and increase the opportunity for clicks.

2. Try different ad formats.
Not all web pages are alike, so try using different ad formats to complement the varying layouts of your web pages. Google have a number of ad formats available for AdSense publishers, Choose one from that which is most suitable to your page.

3. Customize ad color combinations.
Try using custom color combinations for your ad units. This allows you to ensure that the text, background, and border colors of your ads complement your website. You can choose from a wide variety of colors to create your own custom color palettes, or select from over 20 pre-defined combinations. When using color palettes, follow below given points.

The background color of the ad the same as or similar to the background color of your page.

The border of the ad a color that is prominent on your page.

The title of the ad a color that is similar to the text on your page.

The URL of the ad a color similar to other link colors on your page.

For added variety and freshness, you can even choose to rotate through up to 4 different color palettes at a time. Visit http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9981 for editing your ad colors and creating color palettes.

4. Allow the Google bot to access your site content.
To maximize your potential with AdSense, it is important that your site content is accessible to our content crawler. Certain mechanisms on your site may limit the amount of content we can crawl and use to generate ads:

Robots

If you have a robots.txt file, remove the file or add the following two lines to the top of the file:

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google*
Disallow:

This change will allow google bot to crawl the content of your site, so that google may provide you with the most relevant Google ads.

Frames

If your page uses frames, place the AdSense ad code within the frame containing content so that relevant ads can be served. Placing the ad code in an otherwise empty frame, or in a frame containing only graphics or dynamic content, will prevent google from gathering content and serving targeted ads.

Also, when generating ad layout code for pages with frames, be sure to select the Framed page checkbox on the Ad layout code page.

Login/Authentication requirements

Place AdSense ad code on web pages that do not require an account or password for access. Google crawlers aren't optimized to index pages that require a username and password, and as a result, relevant ads may not be served to these pages.

5. Filter out ads you don't want displayed on your site.
From within the Settings section of your account, AdSense gives you the ability to create a URL filter list. Adding a URL to your filter list will prevent ads from that URL from showing on your website. This is a quick and easy way to prevent competitors' and other unwanted ads from being served to your pages. Ads for the websites that you add to your filter list will not run on your site, but remember that filtering sites may decrease the number of ads that can appear on your pages as well as decrease your potential earnings.

For detailed instructions on how to create a URL filter list, please click here http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9875

Please do not click on an ad to find its URL. This may be registered as fraudulent clicks in our system. learn more about how to find the actual URL, please visit http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9876

6. Place AdSense ads on text-rich pages.
Add AdSense ad code to pages on your site that predominantly contain text. Only text is used to determine a page's content. Therefore, although Google's targeting technology is optimized to target ads to pages with frequently updated content, image-heavy pages or pages with dynamic media such as Macromedia Flash ™ may not return relevant ads.

7. Create pages that are simple and clean.
People typically skim a website for less than a minute. Ensure that visitors to your site can find what they are looking for and are not overloaded with clutter. Readability, clear navigation, and speed of loading all contribute to a well designed website.

Make sure that your font colors are easily read on your background color. Use a font size that is easy on the eyes, and use visual clues such as bullets and horizontal lines to make your site easily understood. For additional information, helpful Google search terms include:

The Smart Way To Maximize Your Affiliate Links

Writen by Donesia Muhammad

Affiliate programs are everywhere. There are pretty good programs out there but you may not have enough targeted sites to promote them all. You don't want to bombard your ezine readers week after week with tons of products that you are promoting and also if you own your own product, you want to focus on that first before anything else.

So what is a marketer to do? You want to open up more income streams but you don't want to go into overkill and not get a dime for your efforts. You also at the same time want to be able to promote your bread and butter product (s) and services.

Simple, start an information site.

Many of us have focused so much over the past couple of years on flash and cute designs that we forget that one of the main reasons people are online is to look for information. Information gives them the tools to buy your products.

If you have signed up with various types of affiliate programs, create sites for them.

First find a domain that will match the quality of the information you want to give. Say for instance, you want to focus on internet marketing.

1. Grab a domain through Go Daddy http://godaddy.com. Once you are set up, find a hosting account, if you don't already have one. http://kdmpublishing.com If you already have hosting account, set it up to add on another domain name.

Once that is set up, look for some simple templates. Information sites don't need all the razzle and dazzle that you think. As long as the navigation is good and clear, and people can get to the information they need, you are doing fine. Look for some templates here http://www.kdmpublishing.com/templates/index.html

2. Now create a separate page for each affiliate program you belong to. Place them in categories. Since the theme is internet marketing, then you can have categories such as email marketing, pay per click marketing, search engine performance, blogging and rss feeds, etc. Get the idea?

3. Create eye catching links. Not just the usual "Click Here" but something that catches attention like " Find Out How To Blog For Free" Don't go overboard and sound like a spammer but use your old marketing noggin for catchy links.

4. Grab articles to go with each page. Use informative articles that help, not just a hidden sales letter in disguise. Grab some free articles of all topics here http://reprintedarticles.com Write up your own ads. Don't just go by what was given to you. Be unique.

6. If you are marketing by email, then have a good lead capture page that makes people want to sign up for your information. Subtitle the key points and show them how you can help them.

7. Sprinkle your ad sense ads around but don't make it the only focus on your pages. You want them to buy from you, not leave your site forever. Make sure they are relevant not just a bunch of ads with no content.

8. Keep sign up boxes for your ezine so they will remember you. Keep them coming back. Offer something free that they can grab now from your site, brand it with your url (s)

9. Don't forget to write articles that will lead people to your site. The power of article marketing is at its peak now, take advantage of it.

10. Finally, get your blog going. Add your own personal insights on the topics you are talking about. You can also plug in your affiliate links this way as well. Use Word Press, it is one of the most popular, it's free, and you can find tons of ways to customize it. http://wordpress.org

One last thing, look at your site when its done as a consumer. Does your site give you the information you are looking for?

Read over your site and think about what search terms people would need to use to find your site. Does it make sense, or are you just putting up wasted space?

There are tons of ways to enhance your income. An information site is priceless and the search engines love them. People are always looking for information and they will thank you for it. Keep your content updated, and try to update and add a few pages every week to keep it fresh.

This way you are maximizing your affiliate links and your main products and services. Make sure that the information site you create ties in with your main product so they know they cant live without the other. From that point, you can create even more smaller, niche sites that will benefit everyone.

Now go create and make some money...

Affiliate Marketers Will Never Make A Dime Using Google Adwords

Writen by Kevin Emswiler

Most people start off their affiliate marketing business by getting traffic from google adwords. I know, because that's how I started. If your anything like me, you purchased Google Cash or another pay per click ebook and you set up your first campaign. Latter on after many campaigns you found out that it was a lot harder than you originally thought.

Here's why! Pay per click advertising works well for businesses that can count on repeat business. As an affiliate you usually don't have that luxury. Your relying on one purchase per customer and then you'll probably never see that customer again. A good E-business on the other hand knows that with every person that becomes a customer they can rely on x number of purchases from that customer. This also allows them to bid significantly higher than affiliates because they can make their profits from the back-end.. A business that can rely on a minimum of four purchases per customer for example, can burn up their profits on the first and second purchases and still make profits on the third and fourth purchase.

The last reason affiliates have a hard time is because conversion rates for a typical pay per click campaign average less than 1%. Its hard to make a profit with that kind of conversion rate. I'm not saying its impossible, but affiliate marketers utilizing pay per click advertising for their traffic are definitely fighting an uphill battle.

Things To Test On Your Website To Increase Sales

Writen by Erny Setyawati

The Internet is powerful selling tool. Never before has been easier to start a business ,be able to reach out to literally millions of potential customers and make your business succeed. Yet time has taught us that there is much more to success that simply having a website or using these tools.

A lot of money can be made by promoting product and service through website ,however in order to promote them effectively you will need to be committed to making it work.

Most affiliate program will give us a unique URL ,though these methods work ( especially ezine advertising ) they are limited to how long the ad stays visible. We can not generate long term promotion by just submitting ads using that URL.

A website of our own. Promoting affiliate programs whether it be mlms or any other affiliate program where you are given a unique URL is limiting without a website of our very own. There are literally thousands of ways to promote if we have our own website. Therefore it is imperative that you decide how serious you are about your business and to what level you wish to take your business.

That's why we're devoting this issue to giving you the top six tests you can run on your web site right now. These tests are quick and easy to implement and can start increasing your sales by 400%... 700%... even 1,000%... in less than 48 hours!

Bottom line... testing is the ONLY way to discover what works --and what doesn't -- on your web site ,and it's the BEST way to start increasing your sales exponentially.

And if you take the plunge and test even just one of the following six things ,you'll learn just how true this is... especially when you start seeing a dramatic improvement to *your* bottom line!

Test #1: Offer ONE product or service on your homepage.

We've found that offering fewer products in one place with more copy describing those products ALWAYS translates into higher sales. It's all about focus. Instead of trying to please *everyone* who visits your web site by offering a large range of products with minimal detail about each one ,if you offer just one product (or one set of related products) ,you can really focus on one key set of benefits and answer *all* of the possible questions and doubts your visitors might have about your product.

And you don't have to stop selling your other products -- you can always offer them to your customers from other web pages or by using follow-up offers .

Test #2: Reposition your opt-in offer to BOOST your opt-ins and build a bigger list of loyal subscribers.

Your opt-in offer is your tool for gathering your customers' e-mail addresses. In exchange for their address ,you might offer them a free report containing valuable information or a regular free newsletter. Your opt-in is your mechanism for building your e-mail list , which allows you to regularly keep in touch with your subscribers ,build relationships of trust and loyalty ,and sell them your products or services.

Test placing your opt-in in the "first fold" of your salesletter -- the area of screen first visible to a visitor before they scroll down the page. If you have a long salesletter ,you should test placing it within your second "page" of text -- after you've grabbed your visitors' attention by identifying a problem they have and established your credibility by impressing them with your credentials , experience ,and glowing testimonials from happy customers.

You should also test placing your opt-in offer on EVERY page of your web site so it's always in front of your visitors ,and try using a "hover ad" (see below). The more sign-up opportunities you provide, the more subscribers you're likely to get. Test it and see!

Test #3: Add impact to your promotions with "hover ads"

I'm sure everyone's familiar with pop-ups. They're the small windows containing a special offer or other information that sometimes "pop up" when you visit a web site.

Love them or hate them ,pop-ups have been a very useful online marketing tool for years. However, because a percentage of Internet users disliked them ,Google ,AOL ,Netscape ,and others developed pop-up blocking software to combat them But that was before we discovered a very impressive technology that actually lets you use ads that BEHAVE like pop-ups ,but that are NOT pop-ups -- so they don't get blocked. They're called "hover ads" and they're well worth testing on your site.

In fact ,when we tested adding a hover ad to our site ,sales increased by 162%! They're effective because they put important information, such as your opt-in offer or a special time limited promotion ,right in front of your targeted visitors.

Test #4: Establish a problem in your copy and show how you

can solve it.

In the first couple of paragraphs that appear on your homepage ,you need to go into more detail about the problem you introduced in your headline -- showing your audience that you relate to them. (Only when your audience feels you understand their problem will they feel confident that you can solve it.)

Once the problem is established ,you can then begin introducing your product or service as the solution to this problem. By emphasizing exactly *how* your product or service will solve the reader's problem ,you are guaranteed to see a boost in sales!

Test # 5 :Focus on your readers... not yourself.

The most successful salescopy focuses on the reader. Too often ,business owners neglect this simple golden rule.Look carefully at your salescopy. Is it filled with references to "I," "me," and "we"? Instead of using sentences like ,"I designed my time-management software with the busy homeowner in mind ," try "Your new time -management software will free up hours of time for you to spend with your family." See how much more powerful that is? Try searching on "I," "me," and "our" in your salescopy and replace them with "you" and "your."

It's very important that your salescopy instills a sense of urgency in your visitors ,compelling them to buy NOW. The best place to do this is towards the end of your salesletter ,near the call to action (when you ask for the sale). Here are a few of the most effective ways to create a sense of urgency. Try testing each one against your current copy:

- Offer a limited-time price discount offer where

visitors must buy before a certain date in order to

qualify for the discount.

- Offer additional bonuses for free if they buy within a

certain time frame.

- Offer only a limited quantity of your products or

services.

Test #6: Boost your product's desirability by adding images.

Images of your products make them seem more tangible and "real" to your visitors and are a powerful sales tool. In fact ,our testing shows that you can increase sales by more than 10% just by adding product images. But sometimes revealing what the product is too early in the sales process can kill the sale -- you may need to highlight the product benefits and value before you reveal exactly what it is. Test placing images near the top of the page against placing them near the call to action at the bottom (where you're asking for the sale). You should also test adding images to your order page ,and test the response to using no images at all. By carefully analyzing sales during each test ,you'll learn exactly whereto place product images for maximum impact.

All About Affiliate Networks

Writen by Jeremy Maddock

Over the course of my Internet marketing career, a significant portion of my revenue has come from affiliate networks. With most networks, you can sign-up for free, earn money from several different affiliate programs at once, and get a single consolidated paycheck from one company.

You can also choose which programs you want to participate in, and avoid the trouble of signing-up seperately to each one. In most cases, however, your website will need to be approved by the manager of each program individually. As long as your site is well designed and has good content, it should be accepted into most of the programs that you apply for.

Different programs, of course, will pay you for different things. Some will only give you commissions when you sell one of their products on your website, while others will pay you when one of your visitors fills out a form, or simply clicks on a link. Affiliate networks allow you to experiment with a variety of programs, and decide which ones are best for your site.

Two of my favorite affiliate networks are Commission Junction (http://www.cj.com), and ClickXChange(http://www.clickxchange.com). Each of them has hundreds of high quality programs to join, and explore. Give it a try - you may be pleasantly surprised by the result...

Attracting Good Affiliates

Writen by Jerry Lunsford

Good affiliates can be hard to get. There could be any number of reasons for this, but I am going to focus on what I believe is the one major problem that prevents someone from attracting good affiliates. But first lets look at what the make up of a good affiliate may be. A good affiliate is:

Hard Working

Persistent

Motivated to work their business

Does not need constant reassurance

Makes and implements goals

Overcomes obstacles

Recognizes and takes good advice

And Never, Never, Never quits!

The question some may ask is, "Where are these people at?" I'll tell you. Most of these people are already successful with their own affiliate program. And they are successful for the very reasons listed above. Also, they did not fall prey to the very problem that many searching for good affiliates are causing themselves. And that is advertising hype. They overlooked that and went into the marketing program with a desire to succeed, understanding that it is going to require work and time to be successful. Unfortunately though many are for the first time looking for a home business and don't know what internet marketing is all about. They are vunerable to all the hype infested ads out there.

Now. If a person signs up for an affiliate program with none of the traits listed above for a good affiliate can they indeed be a good affiliate? Yes! But it will be an uphill battle helping them to develop some of the above traits. Even though it would be hard it is still worth it to work with them in hopes they will become the perfect affiliate. Who knows. They may become your best affiliate yet! But I want to focus on getting the good affiliates from the start. Why?

My logic is this. I would rather have one good affiliate that is a real go-getter then ten thousand that do nothing or very little at all. That way you have more time to focus on your own business then spending alot of time babysitting someone who will probably eventually give up. The best route to go is to get affiliates who are already conditioned. Well just how do we do that? There is only one way to do that and that is how your opportunity is presented to prospects.

Most all advertising someone does is loaded with hype. Whether it is their search engine description, classified ads, or email. This is what prevents marketers from getting good affiliates. If possible you must remove all the hype from your advertising and sales letter. Now I know that some of us work an affiliate program owned by someone else. And you may be required to use the advertising and sales letter that they give you. But if possible use the ones that have the least amount of hype. What do I mean by hype!

Hype is where you describe something to the greatest, allowable, extreme possibility. Such as but not limited to the following:

Make a MILLION DOLLARS every time you breathe by just posting a website!!!!!

Earn $15,000 a day by reading emails!!!

Buy my ebook, "125,000 Ways To Get Rich Marketing Salt!"

Now I know these are exaggerations but the point is that while on paper you may be able to prove your claims, most do see these types of ads as exaggerations of the truth. Besides that these ads will not get you those good affiliates your are seeking. What these type of ads will get you are:

Curiosity seekers

Gullible People

Get Rich Quick Hopefuls

If you portray your business as a get rich quick scheme, then that is what you will get. People looking to get rich quick. Not exactly my idea of a good affiliate. Why? Because each person who fits into any of the above groups has their own reason for signing up none of which is to run a business. Most individuals like this sign up and do little if anything. When they realize that they're not going to get a free lunch most will opt out in a day or two. Those who remain will just ignore your emails. By the way. How would you like to go to a job interview and be told you will make $20.00 an hour. You work for 2 weeks only to find out that you have to work for the company 10 years before receiving that amount per hour. You would probably walk out the door feeling you were decieved. That is exactly what happens to people who answer ads loaded with hype. They feel as though they were decieved.

Not only that but it can be costly to run an ad campagin that uses hype. Think of Pay Per Click campagins. Your are spending money on the clicks of those who are not interested in running a business. I would rather get one hit to my website a day from someone who will do what it takes to succeed then a million hits from people who want to get rich by the end of the day.

Rather have an ad campagin that focuses on what the average person can expect. Most people are in this category. An average person. So target your advertising as if everyone who reads it already understands the ins and outs of internet marketing. Portray your opportunity as one that will take years to reach it's full potential. Be honest and up front. Then you will get people signing up who are ready to build a business up over time. Remember. Get Rid Of The Hype. If the average person won't make $15,000 dollars a month then don't say they will. If the average person will probably make $1,000 a month then say that. What's wrong with making a $1,000 more a month then they had before. If you have been able to quit your job because of your affiliate program, prove it. If you can't offer up some type of proof, (copies of checks, real testimonials, etc...) then just keep it to yourself.

The point being made is this. Most people are already aware of the saying, "If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is." There are exceptions to this rule but for the most part it is a true statement. Now if you follow the advice given above you will probably see a significant drop in your website traffic. And also a drop in the amount of affiliates you are getting. But like I and so many others say. "It's not the quanity of the affiliates you are getting but the quality of the affiliates you get.

Leave the hype to those who want to brag about the amount of website traffic and affiliate sign ups they are getting. I'll take a big fat check over hype any time.

Affiliate Marketing Secrets That You Can Use

Writen by Lois S.

Affiliate marketing is a very hot topic on the web right now. Not surprising when you consider the fact that a vast majority of successful online entrepreneurs make their money from affiliate schemes and programs. Since the early days when Amazon was being set up and founder, Jeff Bezos was establishing affiliates as key marketing tools for any online enterprise, affiliates and affiliate marketing has come of age.

The amounts of income being made have clearly transformed affiliate marketing into a very serious business. There are more and more affiliates comfortably raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars every month.

The first important affiliate marketing secret to bear in mind is the reason why affiliate marketing remains the most effective way of marketing any online enterprise. It is all about the power of the referral. It is rather awkward when a website is trying to promote itself directly to prospects. Actually very different from the situation where somebody else refers the business to others, including people they do not know personally.

This works out superbly for several reasons. Firstly the affiliate as a consumer themselves is able to quickly identify the strong attractive points of the business that will best attract others like them.

The other little known affiliate marketing secret is that most of the top-earning affiliates have their own websites and blogs. Having their own websites gives these affiliates a tremendous edge over others. The sites are usually very closely related to the affiliate program that they are promoting. By having their own site, they are able to harvest the email addresses of the traffic to their sites.

Usually, most people you send to your affiliate site will not end up purchasing anything. However when you have their email addresses in your opt-in email list, you can continuously market to them and the affiliate will automatically end up with a much higher conversion rate from the traffic they generate as opposed to an affiliate without a website who just sends traffic to their affiliate website.

This is the affiliate marketing secret that makes a difference between affiliates struggling to pull in a good income and those comfortably making hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Super Affiliate Internet Marketing Secrets

Writen by Christopher Kyalo

Discovering some of the secrets behind super affiliate marketing success is something every affiliate and online entrepreneur is looking to do.

Here are some already well-known super affiliate internet marketing secrets.

a) Super Affiliate Internet Marketing Success Is About Building A Blog That Attracts Relevant Targeted Traffic

Super affiliates have made it all look very easy by simply building blogs and sites that rank highly for certain keyword phrases and terms which attract highly targeted traffic from leading search engines. They have done this by using certain important keyword phrases and then purchasing as many links as possible in leading search directories on the net.

b) Super Affiliate Internet Marketing Success Is About Pre-Selling

The other key marketing thing that super Internet affiliates do is pre-sell to the traffic that they refer to their affiliate web site. Pre-selling is giving all the important information on why the product is required and will yield the full benefits required.

This should never be done in a direct obvious way. Rather a hunger for the benefits and features that the affiliate product will have should be created.

If this is done properly, then by the time the prospect arrives at the affiliate site, they will be falling over themselves to purchase the product or service.

These are just two key well know marketing secrets currently being used by super Internet affiliate kings.

Convert Your Passions Into Dollars

Writen by Aaron Saki

On Cyberspace (Internet), there is a method from which you can make thousands of dollars per month without needing to have your own product or service. This method is highly flexible, and can be used in different forms to produce income by different people with different knowledge and skills. But one definite use of this method can make money for almost any human who is willing to just do it. This specific style can be defined as:

Transform Your Hobbies or Passions into Income Generating Websites

How? Through Affiliate Programs – The Method for Anyone to Go Smiling All The Way to the Bank, or to Wait Laughing Every Month While Waiting Commission Checks To Come to Your Feet. Let's talk about...

Affiliate Programs

In 1997, Amazon.com launched the pre-existing idea of affiliate programs. (Amazon.com practically sells anything, but primarily books, and sells online only).

Since books are all-inclusive on any subject of human activity, Amazon.com thought why not utilize all websites out there, who offer knowledge, in such a way that these websites will offer links from their sites to Amazon.com (thus boosting traffic levels and revenue for Amazon.com), and Amazon.com in return will pay commissions to the referrer (affiliate) for each product sold. That's how affiliate programs started and the idea circulated.

An affiliate program works, using Amazon as the example, as follows; the affiliate provides links from his site to certain books on the Amazon site, books that are related to the affiliate's site content. Amazon uses advanced software that tracks who sends each visitor. If and when the visitor buys, Amazon pays the affiliate a commission. Affiliate program is a service offered to people who want to make money.

Affiliate programs work for anyone, since there are thousands of merchant companies out there who offer affiliate programs on thousands of different products. Online Businesses that offer Affiliate Program are broad in scope; Computing & Internet, Fun & Entertainment, Health & Fitness, Home & Family, Marketing & Advertising, Money & Employment, Society & Culture, Sports & Recreation. There are, surely, offline businesses that offer partnership too, but this article is indifferent to Offline Business. At any rate, online business is immensurable easier then an offline business and success rate is higher, partly owing to the easiness of starting an online business, and also due to the fact that online business stands steadfast in front of a Global Massive Market, instead of a Local Market. Of course this may not always be true. Success of some businesses depends on promotional efforts.

Let's Get Back To Affiliate Programs:

All the book-keeping, order processing, shipping and handling is taken care by Merchant companies. Your only goal is to make people click on the link which will send them to the merchant company. And Its FREE Join affiliate programs.

Broad nature of affiliate programs makes it possible for anyone to leverage Internet, which brings us to the specific method I mentioned on the headline.

Transforming your hobbies into income generating websites

Let me tell you one thing before going further, To transmute hobbies into income is only one way to make money through affiliate programs. There are other ways, such as, if you have an established business, you can promote related affiliate products on your website as recommendations. If you are conducting an e-mail campaign then you can advertise affiliate products in your e-mail campaigns. The way I am talking about is largely desirable for beginners, but it is universal. Let's move on…

People who have website

Take a look at any website that doesn't sell anything but has some content on a particular subject, and you will find an online business that will offer an affiliate programs for that subject. And the owner of that website can make money. So if you own a website, consider searching for a related affiliate program(s).

If your website is about Movies, you can get affiliated with Amazon.com and get access to their movie database; you can advertise anyone of their Movies on your website and get commissions if any visitor from your website follows your advertisement and buys from Amazon.com. As I said earlier, companies identify which visitor came from which affiliate by the use of advanced software technology. Each Affiliate has a unique URL that points to the merchant company. When you get affiliated with any company you are told how exactly this tracking process is handled.

People who don't have website

If you don't own a website, then here is what you can do if you are interested in affiliate business (this is only one way to do it, I just want to give you an idea, but remember, most companies will give you tips and tricks to jump-start once you get affiliated with them).

One way which works well for many people is to concentrate on a small niche. Choose a topic in which you are passionately interested, and create a web site around that theme. Then select associate programs which closely fit the theme of your site and blend them into the site, using text links.

  • Write articles or find articles with reprint rights that match your passions. You can find articles with reprint rights on http://www.articlebank.com

  • Select affiliate programs that fit the theme of your articles

  • Create an informative website containing these nice Articles. To create a quality website, I recommend http://www.websitewizard.com. With this service you can create a website if you can stack blocks.

  • Ingrain into your website, your unique affiliate links, wherever you see fit.

  • Once your website is ready, promote it by submitting to search engines. I have provided for you a free software that will submit your website to search engines. Click here to download.

This is what might happen; supposing that people are now visiting your website. Interested People will come and read your articles; they will like your webpage (for whatever reason) and will perceive that you know what you are talking about and so check out your recommendations (your affiliate advertisements), and they might click and buy through them. Thus, you will make commissions. Of course, that's only a possible outcome. Whatever I am saying in this article is not scientific or proven information. You might make money or not. But it largely depends on your website content, and your promotion.

Affiliate Programs are very good way to make money, since you don't need to own products.

There is one other advantage for signing up with affiliate programs, which is, you get extensive, tested and proven marketing materials, tips and tricks on how to improve your promotion and get more visitors to your website, hence bigger commissions. All this material is yours free if you sign up with their program. Why? Because your success is their success.

A Healthy Cash Flow

Writen by Colin Thomson

What is a healthy cash flow?

I have read numerous articles about cash flow over the last few months and to be honest they bore me to tears. They are generally written by ''experts'' or ''accountants'' who think in numbers and that is exactly how they write. Don't get me wrong, we need accountants and they are a vital part of my life but what is a healthy cash flow from Mr Joe Average's point of view?

To me it is really having enough money in your bank account or in your secret stash that you are not forever worrying about what you can and can't do with your life. That to me seems to be a pretty good definition of cash flow. Having sufficient income to be able to go to the movies, go to the international sporting contests you would like to see, wherever they might be. To be able to do the things you would really like to do!!!

Being able to buy a really nice car and insure it fully comprehensively, parking it in your double garage next to your spouses really nice car, where you are living in relative comfort without the fear of them being damaged, in any form.

A healthy cash flow allows you to travel when you want to, to where you want to, taking with you those you care for and love, if that is your desire.

What if you are single? What does a healthy cash flow mean to a single person these days? When I was single I managed to travel to approximately 15 countries and if I had been able to have sufficient income then I would have seen a lot more than I did and I would have a lot more photos to remember my journeying too.

Today's average backpacker is a pretty intelligent person and they can see a bargain, are pretty sharp in spotting good deals and are discerning of the cheats. The one thing they don't generally have is a healthy cash flow. They have income in their accounts but they have to work where they end up living for a while, so they can make ends meet, without touching their ''travel money.''

If I had found one of the numerous ways to make a steady income, to have a regular dependable cash flow, without working 60 hours a week for it, then my travels would have been absolutely brilliant and extended. How many of you reading this article can relate to this predicament? How many of you have been in the situation of having to go back to work, to work behind a bar, to wait on tables, while everyone else is having a great time? How many of you have had to take agency jobs that you really didn't want to but you really needed the cash flow, so your savings could be spent on your holiday?

There are many ways today to have a good regular cash flow and this generally comes in the form of residual income, income that keeps coming into your bank account over and over again, for work that you generally have done once. There are many mlm, network marketing and internet marketing companies around but who do you go to? Which companies are reputable? How many hours a week, per day do you have to work to make residual income, so that you can enjoy the lifestyle you aspire to, so that you have sufficient travel income?

Can I give you some really good advice, advice I give you freely to do with as you choose.

A healthy cash flow is one that is continuous.
A healthy cash flow will come slowly and last for a long time if it is residual.
A healthy cash flow is one that will take away a lot of your every day concerns.
A healthy cash flow will allow you to do things you only ever dreamed of.
A healthy cash flow is one that gives you multiple choices in life.
A healthy cash flow will require you to plan and save and invest wisely.
A healthy cash flow ensures you become rich in soul as you experience more of life.
A healthy cash flow will allow you to see life from a different perspective.
A healthy cash flow is empowering.
A healthy cash flow will bring its own challenges if used unwisely.
A healthy cash flow is going to bring you rewards if used wisely.
A healthy cash flow will allow you to explore life more fully.

I challenge you to explore life from a different angle, think laterally, think from outside the box, think for yourself and ask yourself the one big question…………

What could I do with a healthy cash flow?

A Successful Satellite Tv Affiliate Website

Writen by Nick Smith

Satellite TV has exploded on the scene during the last decade, providing expanded channel offerings and new technologies that were not previously available from regular television. When the "mini-dishes" were developed and the satellites put in place by Dish Network and Direct TV, satellite TV became available to almost everyone. Now, more than 23 million households subscribe to satellite TV with thousands more joining all the time.

The major players in satellite TV have moved some or all of their operations online, prompted both by the cost-effectiveness of automating systems and the relatively inexpensive advertising market available. Many satellite TV providers have developed affiliate programs to increase their visibility and sales online, and that is why you are reading this article. Below are five things to consider when building a satellite TV affiliate website. This list is not comprehensive, but will at least get you started down the right path.

Identify and cater to your audience. Satellite TV service is relatively inexpensive, and there are few Americans that seem to be able to go without a television blaring somewhere nearby. The result is a huge, very diverse market for you to target, including people with different socioeconomic statuses, geographic locations, and programming desires. If you try to cater your affiliate website to everyone, you risk not effectively targeting anyone. Choose one demographic to target and provide them with the type of information and content about satellite TV you expect hem to ask about. If you can resolve some of their doubts before they click through to he sponsoring website, you will have increased your likelihood of receiving a check.

Mask your affiliate links. This may seem like a no-brainer to some of yo, but don't risk losing a potential sale simply because you forgot to mask or camouflage your links. Some people shopping around online for satellite TV service may not be wary of affiliate links, but others may, so it is best to be overly cautious. Searching in Google for "mask affiliate links" will yield several tutorials of how to do this important task.

Publish quality content. Do you subscribe to a satellite TV provider? Perhaps you know more about one service than you do about the other. Put that experience you already have to good use by writing quality content about the service you use. As potential customers find your website and have many of their questions answered by you, they will be more likely to click through the link and make a purchase. Without copying and pasting from the sponsoring company's pages about their products, you can use their information to create quality content of your own. Remember, for every dollar they pay you in commission, they are earning several themselves. It is in their best interest that you succeed.

Stay up-to-date on sales and specials. The satellite TV market is so big and so lucrative that companies are constantly offering reduced rates, different equipment deals, and other special offers. Don't lose commissions to a competitor just because you don't have the most recent deal or best offer available to your visitors. Check with your affiliate manager often to make sure you're staying current and on top of the game.

Give people a reason to come back. No matter how good of a deal you are able to offer on your affiliate website, subscribing to satellite TV service represents a big investment that people may not be ready to commit to after just one visit to your website. Don't give up on them. Give people a reason to come back to your site - maybe you can blog or offer a news feed, or perhaps you can promise and deliver new content published weekly. No matter what it is you do to keep people coming to your site, a few of the repeat visits will translate into commissions for you in the long run.

Affiliate websites are still a great way to make money, and there are few other markets that offer the generous payouts that the satellite TV industry does. Work hard and be patient and the success will come.

What Is Affiliate Marketing

Writen by Dhiraj Bhikoo

Affiliate marketing refers to the promotion of products or services through affiliates. Affiliates are usually other webmasters and ezine editors who choose to act as sales people on behalf of their principals for a commission on every sale.

There are mainly two types of affiliate marketing programs: the one-tier program and the two-tier programs. In one-tier programs the affiliate earns on a per referral basis and cannot recruit sub-affiliates to assist. In two tier programs not only the affiliate earns from his/her direct referrals but also gets a percentage commission from referrals by co-affiliates who join the program through him/her. It is also possible to have multi-tier affiliate programs but these are not yet prevalent.

If you are an online entrepreneur or marketer and you have your own website then you can also promote your business and increase your sales through affiliate marketing. You will need an attractive and genuine product plus credible sales copy plus the appropriate software to set up an affiliate marketing program. Set out the program's terms and conditions, frequently asked questions and online registration form and post them on your site and let prospects read and be able to join if they are satisfied with your affiliate program.

Apart from providing details about your affiliate marketing program on your website you need to send out the word out there that you have a lucrative and working program. Of course you could advertise in ezines or through ezine ad networks and high traffic websites. You will also need to register your program with affiliate program directories and networks such as www.associateprograms.com and www.comissionjunction.com so that prospects searching for new opportunities can find yours. You could also write reviews and articles and post them in free articles databases and request editors to publish them in your ezine.

If you have no products of your own and no website but want to earn money marketing affiliate programs you can set yourself up and succeed as an affiliate marketing. You would have to learn the ropes of online marketing and invest time, money and efforts to earn legitimate income from promoting other people's products.

You can look for a product(s) in high demand, register as an affiliate and start promoting the products using various marketing strategies. How do you know what is in high demand and what can be a successful product to market could be found mainly through considered research. It is generally accepted that information products such as ebooks, special reports, etc sell well on the internet. To discover what particular infoproducts are suitable for you, conduct some research at online marketing forums such as www.warriorforum.com and www.ablake.com. You can read existing messages already posted there and ask questions to find out more. You can also search at affiliate program network sites such as www.commissionjunction.com, www.associateprograms.com, www.clicbank.com and www.google.com.

To assist you select the most appropriate affiliate program here are further tips:

The product must be genuine and legal so that you do not encounter legal problems.

The minimum payout should not be too high to make you wait for too long for the paycheck or to struggle too much to send referrals.

The product should not be too new as to make prospects tarry in making the buying decision or too old that almost everyone has bought it.

The price should not be too high as to make people unable to afford thus making you not get any or very few referrals or the product is too cheap that your commission is too little such that you would have to make many referrals to earn a decent income.

Does the affiliate program have one –tier or several tiers? The more tiers the program has and ability to earn residual income the better.

Do you have to pay or purchase anything to join the program? Purchasing may be fine for you to know the product but paying to join isn't.

Ideally you should have your own website where you would post reviews and links to your affiliate programs. Use your own domain name when setting up the website to look professional. Since many of the visitors to your website will be there for a few seconds and may never return again, it is advisable that you capture their names and addresses so that you can further enlighten them on your programs and offers. This could be mainly through a regular ezine or an automated autoresponder ecourse.

Provide a means for prospects to contact you in case of any queries and reply promptly and courteously. Promote your website constantly and track your affiliate statistics regularly to gauge your performance. Ensure your links and banners are working and your affiliate ID is correct in all your links. Use text links more than banners as the latter are less effective nowadays due to their proliferation and distractive nature.

Incentives In Affiliate Marketing

Writen by Peter Garant

Affiliate marketing is probably the most effective means today of conducting Internet marketing for the online business. The affiliates create a buzz for the online business, and the products are promoted to thousands of Internet users. This is why an online business should have an affiliate marketing program as part of its marketing strategy.

To establish an affiliate marketing program, the online businessman needs to accomplish two steps. First, he should recruit as many affiliates as possible. The more affiliates, the more promotion for the products. And the more promotion, the more sales. Second, the online businessman should prepare promotional materials that must be sent to the affiliates.

When both steps are done, the businessman will find that his online company will have an increase in sales. Then, perhaps, the online businessman will just go with the flow and focus on product quality and product delivery. Or perhaps the online businessman can still push his sales further upwards. How can this be possible?

All that an online businessman needs to do is to develop and provide incentives for his affiliates. Here are four recommendations for such incentives.

1. Incentives for selling X worth of products within a limited period of time – The online businessman can offer cash incentives for affiliates who are able to convert their referrals into sales that reach a certain amount, perhaps $1500, within a certain period of time, perhaps within one month. When affiliates are aware of such an incentive, they will likely double their efforts so that they can meet the quota sales within the specified time frame.

2. Incentives for selling seasonal products – The online businessman can also offer incentives to affiliates who are able to sell seasonal products or products that are offered only during certain periods of the year. The cash incentive will go to the affiliate who can sell the highest worth of seasonal products.

3. Incentives for selling the highest worth of products during slow months – All online companies experience slow months. These are the times of the year when the sales are alarmingly low. But this can be overcome when the online businessman can offer incentives to affiliates who are able to generate sales during these slow months.

4. Additional commissions or bonuses for selling X worth of products – The online businessman can offer higher commissions to affiliates who are able to generate a specified amount of sales. That is, if the sales of the affiliate reach a certain bracket, the percentage of commission in the pay-per-sale set-up will be increased. This will encourage the affiliates to go for more sales.

Peter Garant's affiliate marketing site offers high quality but cheap unique website content to webmasters who wants to maximize traffic and revenue on their affiliate sites.

Whats A Niche And Can I Find One Too

Writen by Vickie Scanlon

When I came upon that little word -- Niche -- I wondered, "what is this thing called a Niche -- and most importantly, can I find my own niche too?

What is A Niche

Well, a niche, is a service or product, that fills an unmet customer's need -- that is more of a speciality. You are not competing with the masses for a sale on an ebook or an affiliate tool. Instead, you carve out a small corner of the market for yourself on the Internet.

Well, the definition was simple, however, finding a niche that I felt comfortable with was going to be a chore, because I wanted to avoid the affiliate programs -- and if possible find a company that privately carried their own affiliate program -- without the quota's and the many rules.

How to Find A Niche

When I started looking for a niche market, I started to make a list of my hobbies, what I liked to do, what I was interested in and what I was familiar with -- to help me brainstorm. If this little task does nothing else, it will definitely give you an eye-opener to who you are.

Anyway, when the dust finally settled I realized that I wanted a niche where it would assist others -- perform a service of some sort, and would compliment my current website. Not very decisive, but I had a direction.

Then it happened, just by chance, or maybe it was divine intercession -- anyway, I received a personal email from one of the assistant manager's from DentalPlans -- stating that she liked my website and wondered if I would be interested in becoming an affiliate.

I looked at their website and the affiliate plan -- and I knew that this affiliate program was for me.

Here's What DentalPlan Offers

1. High conversion rate -- 1-5% percent conversion

ratio from click thrus.

2. Commission -- $40 to $50.

3. Extremely high EPC.

4. Partner through DentalPlans private network -- Your affiliate manager will answer any questions you may have --- one

on one assistance.

5. You can promote on-line or off-line or both.

6. Full 365-day cookie. (If you go through DentalPlans program)

7. Paid monthly.

8. They work with affiliates more closely -- will create custom creatives such as: landing pages, banners, pop-unders, emails, editable templates to fit on your website.

9. Free Web templates (standard and editable), banners, affiliate links

10. On-line tracking of stats

11. Multi-tier possibilities (Need to ask about it)

This is what I or any affiliate is looking for in a program! If you would like to join, you can go to my website at http://www.myaffiliateplace.biz/Affiliate_More_Affiliate_Opp.htm or if you would like to look at one of their editable website's go to http://www.myaffiliateplace.biz/Affiliate_mydentalwebsite.htm and look around.

Anyway, I found my niche -- it compliments my affiliate website.

So yes, you can find your small corner of the Internet and find a niche product. But always remember -- even though this may have seemed difficult -- your chore is not over -- you must market, market and market.

To you success.

Affiliate Program Free Advertising

Writen by Michael Russell

There are many was to advertise you affiliate program or programs totally for free. There will always be a ton of hype surrounding programs like Google Adwords, but you can advertise for free just as well. In many cases, depending how much work you are willing to put in, better. Let me just start off by saying that there is, under no circumstances, a reason to Spam. Many Internet marketers fall into this trap and ruin their reputation. Make sure what you are advertising and the way you do it adds at least some valuable content to the web.

First off there are the work from home forums. These forums are a great place to build relationships, learn, and yes advertise. Now to advertise on forums you don't just say, "Hey, I have a great program. You have to join it now.". Those posts will get deleted very quickly. You should sign up for some forums and just post. You can ask some questions, answer some, etc. What you need to do to advertise is to add your affiliate links to your signature. This can be done in your profile at the forum. As you build a reputation on the forums people will click more and more on your links. Stay away from the free advertising forums. Nobody really reads them.

Writing articles is also a great source of free advertising. Write a good article and include links to you program. You will want to include good content in you article. Make it worth reading. Don't just randomly throw your links in there. Attract the reader; draw them in, then slip a link or two in there. Then just search the net for free article submissions. Most forums also have a forum for posting articles.

Good SEO (search engine optimization) is essential in free advertising. Most people still use the Internet as a way to look for information. If you rank high in the search engines you are bringing people directly to your site. You just need to know the right key words and use them well. There is so much to SEO that I will not go into it all here. Look online or for a free or cheap e-book on the subject.

Write a testimonial. If you join a program you really like, just write a testimonial about it. You can also exchange testimonials with other online marketers. Everyone wants to bolster themselves a bit. People love getting these. Just include links to your site at the end.
