Online Affiliate Program Networks The Home Based Business Goldmine

Writen by Blake Stevenson

Home business opportunities are in abundance, the trouble is picking one that suits you. The Internet is awash with new ventures and supposed quick fixes to all business problems. But the trouble with many of these is that there are no guarantees and huge financial risks involved. One home business opportunity has been picked up and mastered by millions, from people looking to subsidise their income with a small regular payment to those looking to generate enough revenue to live off of. It may sound like an unlikely solution to your home business quest, but affiliate marketing is one of the most profitable industries with boundless opportunities.

Affiliate marketing may seem a rather unconventional, even an unlikely business venture, but in terms of free enterprise it is one of the best around. There are payments that have to be made, no customers to contact and best of all as a website owner you become master of your own destiny. All that is required from a new affiliate is to sign up to one of the many affiliate programs circulating the Internet, own a website and then be prepared to host advertisements on the site. Affiliates will then be automatically rewarded each time a customer joins the site that they represent via one of their links.

Some affiliate programs reap a higher reward than others, take the sports betting industry for example. Sports betting has developed into one of the largest and most profitable online industries. The affiliate program package provided by sports betting sites is unrivalled in terms of potential revenue. Rather than fobbing the websites that represent them off with a small one off payment for each customer that an affiliate attracts, sports betting programs offer a percentage scheme.

The percentage is not based on a couple of months of a players betting, it is spread over their entire lifetime on the site. Thanks to the technology that the Internet provides, affiliates have the opportunity to track their customers and see where and how they are earning their money. By offering a percentage system, the affiliate is essentially becoming a diluted version of the bookmakers. This is no bad thing, especially when you consider that the sports betting industry turns over billions of dollars each and every year. The affiliate program lets people earn from this industry, without even getting their fingers burnt. Unlike the bookmakers, affiliates stand no chance of losing money, if their player goes on a winning run the worst thing that can happen is a zero balance on pay day.

Of course in an industry as competitive as affiliate marketing there are no sure-fire ways to get ahead and earn your fortune. Much of the success of affiliate marketing is down to sheer good fortune. However like in any industry you can make your own luck. In affiliate marketing it is essential to maintain visibility on search engines and to keep traffic flowing through your site. The more people that visit a site, the greater the chance that one will click on one of the links. It doesn't take thousands of customers to earn a substantial wage, just a couple each week can help build a customer base that will eventually earn you and your site a revenue. However always be mindful that affiliate programs are slow starters, nobody gets rich in a month. The key to affiliate marketing is having the patience to wait for more customers to filter through, eventually if you attract more and more, so the revenue will increase. Affiliate programs allow a website owner to experiment with advertising and marketing of their own site and that of the company (s) they represent. If one marketing method doesn't work just try another, the Internet is a wide-open expanse full of opportunity. With unrestricted audiences and potentially lucrative salaries with no caps, sports betting affiliate programs could be the way to get your home business working again.

7 Tips To Become A Master Affiliate

Writen by Gian Luigi Ruggeri

This are 7 useful tips that can really put you in the right direction to become one of the affiliate marketers that really make money promoting on the net products of other companies.

1- Keep in mind that becoming an affiliate marketer on the internet you are gaining access to customers of all the world instead of just having access to a local customer base. With the internet you can reach millions of potential buyers instead of hundreds or thousands.

2- Do some basic analysis researching the market you want to sell to. A useful suggestion I can give you is to use the SWOT Analysis to consider existing competition:

- Strengths

- Weaknesses

- Opportunities

- Threats

3- When selecting an affiliate program to promote look at the following criteria as basic requirements:

- Affiliate programs that pay you at least $10 per sale.

- Affiliate programs having limited option for the ordering process (e.g.: you don't want that the affiliate program pays you only if the customer buys using clickbank and on the site it is available also the option to pay with Stormpay that does not earn you the commissions you deserve)

- Affiliate programs that don't have many external links to other programs you don't get credits for.

4- Create a web page that cloaks your affiliate URL and use it to promote the affiliate program instead of directly promoting the affiliate URL. This is important because this way the prospect, the potential buyer, will not be able to remove your affiliate ID and you are more likely to get credits for the sale.

5- When using paid advertising try to capture the contact info of the visitors like name and email address. You will be able to contact them again if they did not buy at the first visit to try to convince them to purchase from you, and you won't have to pay again to resubmit them your offer.

6- Be informative about the products you are promoting with your potential customers. You can write articles or reviews telling your own experiences about how the product or service you promote was useful and helpful to solve a problem or a need you had.

7- Use paid advertising to promote your affiliate programs. Some of the best paid advertisings available are PPC (Pay Per Click, like google AdWords), email advertising like ads in newsletters and ezines (even better if you build your own mailing list), paid links in targeted high traffic sites.

All these marketing tips are discussed more in details, along with many other valuable and extremely useful techniques aimed to affiliate marketers, in the "Become a Master Affiliate Marketer Guide" that is available at:

Encouraging Affiliates To Promote Your Products

Writen by Darryl Power

I've spent years trying to figure out how to really sell my products. I used everything technique until I can across amazon.com who gave a percent of earnings, to whom, directed an individual to there site and then bought something. Then it hit me, I could be doing the same thing. This then led me to my formula.

If you want the quickest, easiest way to sell your own products then you need to do it the 'lazy' way. You need to convince other people to sell your products for a cut of the profits. Having your own affiliate program is the 'lazy' way of marketing and getting maximum returns.

Here are 4 ways to encourage affiliates to promote your products.

1. Have a common affiliate program.

There is nothing worse then having to signup for a separate affiliate program every time you want to promote a certain product. It is a real put off to affiliates. So if you have just one or two products I recommend that you use a large market place such as Clickbank or PayDotCom to get lots of affiliates to promote your products.

2. Pay a big commission.

When selling digital products online it is recommended that you give the largest percentage you can. A minimum of 50% should be offered, 60% is nice but 70% or 75% is a generous commission. You might be thinking to yourself, "75%! That is crazy... I want to make 'some' money as well, why should they get more than me?". Quite simply, the more you give affiliates the more likely they are willing to spend their money to promote your products so you will make more sales and get the potential for more repeat products in the long run.

3. Pay them quickly and reliably.

Affiliates always have an inbuilt fear that the product owner will run off with their money so the sooner you pay them the more comfortable they are and the more willing they are to promote your products. Plus if you pay them reliably at the agreed time each month then this will have the same effect.

4. Make it easy for them to promote you.

The last thing you want to do is make it hard or complicated for your affiliates to promote your products. So you have to make it dead easy for them to promote you by providing them with easy to brand solo ads, articles and ezine ads.

In following these techniques you will have know problem in selling you products. I will guarantee that.

All the best for your online success

6 Powerful Vre Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense Part 1

Writen by Cory Threlfall

VRE -- better known as "Virtual Real Estate" is literally everywhere online.

That's right. Everytime you do a search on whatever it is your searching for via the Internet you get a list of results. Within that list of results lye's thousands, if not, millions of pages of Virtual Real Estate that is making someone out there on the WWW some handsome profits.

The question is... "what have you done in order to stake your Internet "VRE" claim so you too can enjoy some of that profit as well?"

If you haven't started anything yet, that's okay because I did a little research for you and came up with these "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense" so you too can benefit like the many others out there online.

The first VRE business model I'd like to talk about are -- Article Directories.

VRE Model #1. Articles Directories.

Article Directories are in my mind are probably one of the best VRE business models on the web simply because they offer your audience and publishers Multiple Channels of information on any topic.

And the facts are, people come online for information.

So, what do Article Directories contain?

That's right... Information! ... and lots of it.

The other great benefit to Article Directories is that you don't have to write a single word if you don't want to because the whole purpose of starting your Article Directory in the first place is to get other people(we also call them authors) to submit their content for your readers and/or publishers to read and use.

Now, the Rule Of Thumb is simple when it comes to growing your Article Directory and that is... the more authors you recruit, the more your Article Directory will grow, filling it full of targeted information for your readers to digest and for publishers to use on their websites.

It gets better, so keep reading.

Did you know that the more pages you have within your Article Directory means... the more search engine food you'll have for the search engines to come and index into their database which will then be displayed within the search engines search results.

Remember in the beginning of this article when I was talking about the search engine results being full of Virtual Real Estate. This is where your Article Directories webpages(or your Virtual Real Estate) will be listed for web surfers find.

This also means that you'll receive a lot of FREE targeted search engine traffic to your Article Directory as it grows giving your authors FREE targeted traffic to their sites and keeping them happy, and at the same time, will be building your VRE nest egg on the WWW.

Are you starting to see the benefits to starting your own Article Directory on the Internet?

I hope so.

But don't go anywhere just yet, I'm not finished.

There's two more things I want to talk to you about before this part of the article series ends.

The first is RSS -- better known as "Real Simple Syndication" and what RSS does is it allows you to syndicate your Article Directories content or just content in general through an RSS feed so that any reader and/or publisher who subscribes to a particular RSS feed within your Article Directory will receive ANY new updated content that is published... INSTANTLY!

The other benefit to a RSS feed is... lets say you have 1000 publishers subscribed to one of your RSS feeds and one of your authors submits a new article at your Article Directory, all those publishers who subscribed to that RSS feed will receive it once that RSS feed updates and when someone clicks on the link within that RSS feed to read the new article, guess where the visitor is sent to?

You guessed it, your Article Directory, with your Google Adsense ads(I'll talk about that in a second) and whatever other related affiliate links you have on that webpage.

Now... for the BEST part, how-to make a $Profit$ with your Article directory.

I'm telling you, this is the easiest money you'll ever make for simply supplying your viewers and the Internet(A.K.A. The Information Super Highway) with what it needs the most, Information!

How do you do it?

Heard of Google Adsense(as I mentioned just a minute ago), because if you haven't, now you have.

What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is Googles affiliate program for publishers and how it works is it displays ads targeted towards the content on that particular webpage being viewed.

How do you get paid? Simple. Your reader just has to click on one of the ads within the Google Adsense ad box on that webpage and depending on what the topic is and keyword could pay some handsome commissions(usually between 35% to 50%).

And, guess what? You didn't even have to do any selling OR follow-up.

Not bad and believe me those clicks add up Fast and by having the search engines returning frequently for regular indexing and having RSS feeds (remember, when someone clicks on the RSS feed link on someone elses website they get redirected back to yours with your Google Adsense ads on it and other affiliate links) for other publishers to use on their websites you'll soon see your Google Adsense profits get Bigger and BIGGER!

Well, that's it for now. So be sure to be on the look out for my next installment of the "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense".

Internet Marketing Secrets Revealed

Writen by Carl Manice

#1 "Affiliate marketing is easy! You'll be making money within 15 minutes".

Secret: It is NOT easy, and it could take you a hell of a lot longer than 15 minutes to make any money. You'll read a lot of stuff from people telling you that making money on the internet is very easy, so that you'll buy whatever it is that they're selling. Many internet gurus will tell you that it's real easy, and it's just not. It takes a ton of work, and many, many hours on the computer. I make decent money, I'm not in the six figures, but I stuck to it, and it's worked out so far, but it's taken a lot longer than 15 minutes…

When was the last time that you read that the money that you make (if you make any at all) on the internet will be piddly at it's absolute best in the beginning? My first check was for $6.48, but that $6.48 told me that there was more to be made. So like I said before, I stuck with it.

#2 "Discover the secrets of…"

Secret: There are so many ebooks out there that promise to "give you the secrets" of everything from how to make money blogging to how to get Google to make money for you. Here's the scoop; If Internet Guru dude gave all of us his "secrets", what would be left for him? I'm not saying that he should give us his secrets, I am saying that he shouldn't say that he's giving away those secrets, only to water them down with regurgitated, inflated nonsense.

#3 "Drive tons of free traffic…"

Secret: Where to start with this one?

Anytime someone offers to "drive free traffic to your site", run far, and run fast in the opposite direction. Generally, that "free traffic" is highly untargeted traffic. It's not the kind of traffic that you're looking for if you're going to make any money doing this at all. There's no such thing as "free targeted traffic". Nothing is free. Everything costs something. Remember that.

#4: "Subscribe to our newsletter for inside information…"

Secret:..."and we'll harass you via email 'til you want to slit your wrists".

I recently signed up for a particular internet guru's newsletter. Should I tell you how many emails I got from him (or his system) in the 7 days following my sign up? Eleven. I got 11 emails from this person (or his damned system) in the seven days following my signing up for his newsletter. And all 11 emails had one subject; one goal in mind; to sell me his latest program.

Now, if I signed up for his newsletter in the first place, wouldn't common sense say that I already know about his program? I have since un-subscribed from his newsletter. No more emails. (I should say that they're not ALL that way, but there are a few...)

There used to be newsletter sign up boxes on my sites. They're gone now. Those blasted things are all over the internet, and I've grown tired of them. If you want to read my rantings on a semi-regular basis, you can read them in my blog. I'm not going to come after you for your contact info, and I'm not putting those damned sign up boxes back up.

#5: "Gigantic red lettering...

Secret:...at the top of a web page means that I'm about to witness something wonderful!"

It is actually the sign that you're about to be "pitched" and in great, painfully predictable detail. When I see the giant red lettering at the top of a web page, I click away as quickly as I got there. I'm sure that many of you do too. There's got to be a better way than that blasted enormous red hey-stay-there-while-we-pitch-you-with-our-60-page-"big-top"-program-monologue lettering.

It is entirely possible to make a very good living on the internet. I'm living proof (and there are others) that it can and does happen. There are a few great programs out there, but you have to be very careful when choosing which you want to represent. In my opinion, there are only a handful (maybe 4 or 5) of truly ingenious people out there when it comes to internet marketing. I'm sure that they know who they are…
